A List of the Hungarian Immigrants in 1900 Del Ray , Michigan

     Del Ray,Wayne County,Michigan was listed as a village within the Springwells township of Wayne County in Michigan.It was annexed to the city of Detroit in 1905 .By 1900,the two major factories, Detroit Iron and Solvay Chemicals, drew a working population of Slovakian, Hungarians, Bohemians and other immigrants .I only transcribed the listing where the enumerator wrote Hungary as place of origin.It's QUICKER TO USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION TO FIND YOUR DEL RAY FAMILY NAME  . Some names in parentheses are my own corrections of the enumerator's take on the spelling of the Hungarian or Slovakian names. Families are together, many are boarding houses with men only .
